With a new season comes new trends and I love to keep up with them! Some runway trends can be kind of scary and unapproachable, so I usually like to pick my favorite of the bunch and try incorporating them into my life as much as I can! 🙂 Here are my favorite trends for this spring!
1. Crochet:
This one is easy and adorable, honestly. I love this trend because it’s not too out there at all and just screams warmer weather. It’s also typically made into pieces that are neutral colors, so it is super duper easy to incorporate into your outfits! I love crochet cover-ups, tops, dresses, and even bags. All of these options are beautiful!
2. Polka Dots:
I’m so pleased that polka dot patterns are on the scene again. As an everything retro lover, I get so excited when polka dots are made into trendier pieces. I’ve been seeing polka dots everywhere from jumpsuits to dresses, skirts, headbands, swimsuits and cute hair ties. To me, this pattern is so classic, you really can’t go wrong with it! 3. Bright and Diffused Lips:
I love playing with bright lip colors in the spring, but sometimes it can be a little daunting. This diffused look that I’m seeing everywhere right now almost gives a more natural and effortless look to your makeup. I know I’ll definitely be playing around with this trend this season!
4. Knit Dresses:
The reason I love this one is because I feel it is actually pretty versatile! It naturally screams casual but depending on the look could easily be dressed up enough to be fancier. I absolutely love this dress from Forever21 and wear it all the time! It’s perfect for so many occasions. I most recently wore it to a farmers market and to a tea! It’s another super easy trend! Neutral and simple!
5. Puff Sleeves:
There’s some mixed feelings about this trend but I personally love it. If the puffed sleeve isn’t too crazy, I find it to be very flattering and romantic. I especially love this trend with floral prints and muted colors, making it not too crazy and accessible. Would you try this one out? Here’s some adorable options:
6. Lots of Blush:
I’m always a fan of blush so I’m not surprised I’m so drawn to this trend. It’s really easy to overdo it with the blush but if done the right way it can actually look super stunning. I love how flushed cheeks make us look sun kissed and add color, so I’ll be rocking this trend likely now and throughout summer. Love her blush in this video:
7. Lime Green:
I have to say, this trend really grew on me. At first, I really didn’t understand it and it felt very odd to me. I wasn’t sure if it was something that I could pull off or that I would even like, but now I’m loving it! I think it is so cute. It feels fun to wear a pop of color sometimes, and as long as you balance it out with the rest of your outfit, I think it can look super approachable. Dresses make it super easy too.
